Gary Joseph and The Country Troubadours

Gary Joseph & The Country Troubadours have a truly unique style. As part of this country music band, they have managed to stay within the traditional elements of the genre while still producing exciting and innovative music.Gary Joseph’s childhood was filled with  music. At the age of 10, he started teaching himself how to play the guitar, starting with Gospel music before spending 10 years playing Bluegrass. It was only after that that he finally found his style: the country music he’d always been dreaming of. At the same time, he also found his voice, becoming a singer.But Joseph isn’t just a talented musician, he is also a talented band leader. After forming a band during his time with Bluegrass, Wolf Creek Grass, he founded The Gary Joseph & The Country Troubadours in 2011. In addition to being a musician and singer, he is also a songwriter who also has experience with promotion and marketing. He founded The Hazard Bluegrass Festival, The Sugar Grove Opry and Coal Festival, Kingscreek Music Festival, Cornstalk Records and Promotions, and The Leslie County Little Opry. Throughout his musical career, he has had the opportunity to share the stage with many of his musical heroes and legends, an honor that he has not taken lightly.

Ronnie Dale is a well-known and respected figure in country music. He has shared the stage with numerous bands, including the illustrious Del Reeves Good Time Charlie band and Martha Carson's band. He also had his own recording studio in Nashville, which means he not only performs, but has the talent and experience to produce his own music. It's no surprise he's been able to collaborate with so many talented musicians over the years.Ronnie Dale has graced many stages, including multiple performances at the Grand Ole Opry. He is a consummate entertainer with a commanding stage presence and extraordinary wit. In addition to his musical accomplishments, Ronnie Dale is also a talented songwriter. The music community has recognized his talent many times over, but there is no better proof of his abilities than the fans that turn out to support him at his many performances. We are very honored to have Ronnie Dale as a part of the band.

The band is pleased to have David Barnett in its ranks. David has many musical talents, including the banjo, guitar, steel guitar, mandolin, and vocals. Since he began playing the banjo in his preteen years, he has been performing on many other instruments. Over the years, David has been a member of several musical groups and has collaborated with a variety of musicians. Not only is he proficient on a multitude of instruments, but he is also a skilled vocalist and songwriter. David has been a part of the band on several occasions since near its inception, and we are excited to share our time and musical talent with him.

We are honored to have Richard Crabtree to the band. Richard is a very talented drummer who has played with renowned groups such as the Harlan Opry and Middlesboro Opry house bands. But that's not the only thing he's good at: Richard is also a highly accomplished law enforcement professional. He had a long and distinguished career in that field, serving more than 20 years as a deputy sheriff in Lee County, Virginia, and also then as a U.S. Marshal.

 I would like to introduce you to Randy Wyatt. He is our newest addition to the band and brings a wealth of experience from his work in Bluegrass and Country Music, having collaborated with several esteemed bands. In addition to his musical abilities, Randy has also had a very long career as a police officer. We are so happy to have him on board, not only as a wonderful musician but also a great person to be around.

Tony Dingus is one of the most talented musicians you will ever meet. He resides in Kingsport, TN. He is a very sought-after studio musician who has played on hundreds of records from studios locally to the studios in Nashville, TN. He has shared the stage with many legendary musicians and singers, and we are thrilled to have him with us on steel guitar.
